.....AND THERE WE WERE

The end of September, found six of us gathering at the beach house, this time. What a time of healing;fellowship,and love it was too!
Nellah and I welcomed Leslie and our newest Mom,Maryann on Friday, as we gathered at Main's Market, for lunch.Sarhi came over on Saturday and fixed her wonderful Cuban Sandwhiches,for lunch. Yum! We were suprised by Jennifer on Saturdy evening, and it was a treat,indeed! We called Liz and told her how much we missed her.Infact,we missed all our regular Mom's.
Maryann has given two son's back to God, and she said that she felt true healing occur, for the first time, since her first son died. When we gather together, there is lots of time, where we express ourselves, but what's so wonderful, is that it is a safe place to do so.What's said here, stays here.
We managed to watch several Ken Davis DVD's and a Mark Gungor DVD on "The Tale of Two Brains". Mom's who give back to God, their cildren, need time to laugh, and these DVD's certainly were a help in doing that!
Ofcourse we ate.......LOTS!!!We talked and spent lots of time walking on the beach.
Ter holidays are approaching, and that's always rough for us, but as one of the Mom's staed about our time together....
You can go to a place where you can just talk about thye loss of your child,and you can go to a place where you can talk just about God and His plan for you in all this.......
What she stated, was that this weekend had given her the best of both of these worlds. She had been able to talk about her child all she wanted, and find God's help for healing through these other Mom's all in one!
What a beautiful weekend, with some beautiful Mom's of some beautiful children!
